Adventure
The Lantern Path
★★★★★ 4.7
The Lantern Path is a gentle adventure that leans hard on atmosphere. You tap to move, examine objects, and solve light environmental puzzles while a soft narration unfolds the story in fragments. The fog effects and muted palette make the whole thing feel like a picture book come to life.
Puzzles are never cruel. They nudge you forward rather than block you, which suits the melancholy tone. I played it in one long sitting and it never once annoyed me with a fake difficulty spike.
It's short, maybe three hours, but it's the kind of short that stays with you.
What we liked
- Beautiful, moody art direction
- Fair, story-driven puzzles
